• gilt metal rectangular case with faux lapis lazuli ground, a slide to the side activating the lid to open and revealing a singing bird in multi-colored plumage, turning on its axis and opening its beak and flapping its wings, winding mechanism to the bottom • white dial with quartz movement inserted to the front of box, Arabic numerals • case signed Reuge Music, Sainte-Croix, dial signed

Condition

Quartz movement of the clock at the front in working order. Singing bird action in working order when cataloguing. The bird is in very nice condition with no obvious blemishes. Box with some light scratches to the surface, some scuffs around the bezel of the quartz dial. Overall in very good condition. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time keeping and a service might be required at the buyer's expense.
