• manual winding jewelled nickel lever movement • gilt dial, Arabic numerals, outer minute track • 18k yellow gold circular case with two feet, repeating slide to the band, case set within an 18k yellow gold rectangular cushion-form cover with dedicated engravings on one side, the case folds for portability • dial and cover signed

Condition

The movement and repeating function in working order when cataloguing. The repeating sounds are rather loud and in pace. Dial in good condition with some specs of dust and light scratches. Case and cover with general normal wear. Overall in good condition. The engraving to the cover reads 'To his excellency Dr. Lauro Severiano Müller, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, from The Pan American Society of the United States, as a token of appreciation of his valuable services in the promotion of mutual esteem, friendship and good will between the Brazilian and American peoples, New York, June 17, 1913' Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time keeping and a service might be required at the buyer's expense.
