Of Jarretière design, the mesh linking strap inset with a watch with square dial applied with arrow and dot indicators, the clasp accented with lines of circular-cut rubies and diamonds, length approximately 220mm, dial and case signed Longines, British import marks.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. British import marks for 18 carat gold London, total weight approximately 98grams, including watch movement. Rubies purplish red, well matched with characteristic inclusions, diamonds bright and lively, secure clasp with safety catch. Inside of watch case signed Longines and numbered 6462-1 11, movement signed Longines 17 jewels 9991161 13.15 Swiss, some wear and discolouration to dial, Movement not running at time of cataloguing.
