Designed as an opening rose, the flower set with a cluster of circular-cut rubies, sapphires and emeralds and brilliant-cut diamonds, the sliding leaves highlighted with a circular-cut emerald, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, case stamped Cartier.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.

Signed Cartier, numbered HSA 4149. French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Indistinct maker's marks. Coloured stones with good saturation. Diamonds bright and lively. Opening hinged petals in good condition. Pin fitting secure. Very slight tarnish to metal in places consistent with age and wear. Safety catch. In good condition.
