Designed as a fish, the body set with circular-cut demantoid garnets and diamonds, the head set with a freshwater pearl with cabochon ruby eye and seed pearl coronet.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 07930 stating that the pearl is natural freshwater. Mounted in gold, secure brooch pin with safety catch, garnets well matched a few with abrasions to facet edges and some with large chips to surface, diamonds bright and lively, seed pearls with some fine crazing to nacre. Overall good condition.
