Ruby, seed pearl and diamond necklace and ruby and diamond ring

The necklace set with polished ruby beads, faceted diamond beads and seed pearls, length approximately 610mm, the ring of geometric design, set with calibré-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, size P. 

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Necklace: Rubies light to dark red, translucent, some abrasions and chips to surfaces, surface reaching fissures. Diamonds ranging from H to M in colour, SI to I in clarity, very abraded facet edges. Seed pearls cream. No clasp, inner circumference approximately 610mm. Ring: Rubies medium purplish red, typical inclusions visible under magnification, some abrasions to facet edges. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.80 - 2.20 carats, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity SI on average. Evidence of re-sizing to band. Scratches and slight tarnish to mount consistent with wear. Each in good condition.
