Comprising: pair of cultured pearl and brilliant-cut diamond ear clips of floral design; one pair of enamel and diamond ear clips, set with lasqué-cut diamonds with polychrome enamel to the reverse; two brooches similarly set with with oval rubies; a pair of rock crystal and cultured pearl ear clips, signed Gage; and a single ear clip set with cabochon rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Gage.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
Cultured pearl ear clips: Cultured pearls cream, high lustre, rosé and green overtones, some pitting to nacre. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.00 - 7.00 carats, stones bright and lively. Some tarnish to mount and scratches consistent with wear.
Enamel and diamond ear clips: Diamonds with typical inclusions visible to naked eye, one stone with surface reaching feather. Enamel in good condition. Gross weight approximately 65 grams. Later clip fittings.
Enamel, ruby and diamond brooches: Diamonds bright and lively, typical inclusions visible to naked eye. Rubies with typical inclusions visible to naked eye, some chips to facets. Some loss to enamel in places and evidence of restoration to reverse. Gross weight approximately 54 grams. Later brooch fittings.
Gage rock crystal earrings: Each signed Gage. Foiled rock crystal in good condition. Cultured pearls peeling with medium to dull lustre. Inventory numbers in ink to reverse. Strong clip fittings.
Gage ruby and diamond ear clip: Stamped 18 for 18 carat gold. Signed Gage. Rubies light to medium red, typical inclusions visible to naked eye, some chips to surfaces. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.00 - 2.50 carats, stones bright and lively. Second ear clip deficient.
