Ruby and diamond brooch

Designed as a flower, set with brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds and pear-shaped rubies.

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Stamped 950 for platinum. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 8.00 - 12.00 carats, estimated colour G-I, estimated clarity VS-SI. Rubies dark brownish red, typical inclusions visible under magnification, some abrasions to ruby facet edges. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. Secure brooch fitting. In good condition.
