The brooch designed as a knife edge bar applied with a natural saltwater pearl, two seed pearls and circular-cut diamonds; the ring set to the centre with a natural freshwater pearl between single-cut diamond shoulders, size I.

Condition

Accompanied by GGTL reports no. 13-P-2891 and 13-P-2893, stating that the pearl tested in the brooch was found to be natural, saltwater and the pearl in the ring was found to be natural, freshwater. Brooch stamped with partial French assay mark for platinum and indistinct maker's mark. Natural pearl grey with light brown overtones, off round, medium lustre. Seed pearls yellow. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.90 - 1.00 carats, stones bright and lively. Brooch slightly bent. Ring stamped with indistinct French assay mark and numbered 5956 and 187. Natural freshwater pearl white, off round, dull lustre with hairline cracks to nacre. Diamonds bright and lively. Each with scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
