Claw-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 21.76 carats, within an open work frame set with circular- and single-cut diamonds, suspended from a fine link chain, length approximately 405mm, French import mark.

Condition

Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 06130, stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no evidence of heat treatment. Stamped with French import mark for 9 cart gold. Sapphire weighing 21.76 carats, light to medium blue, typical inclusions visible to naked eye. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.40 - 1.60, stones bright and lively . Clasp fitting secure. Scratches to mounts consistent with wear. In good condition.
