Designed as an open work scalloped plaque decorated with oval rubies, circular-cut and rose diamonds, within a black enamel frame, suspending a fringe of natural pearl drops, later brooch pin.

Accompanied by Gemmologie de Laboratoire Français report no. 196437, stating that the pearls were found to be natural.
