Centring on cabochon sapphire weighing 12.21 carats, within a double frame of brilliant-cut diamonds, size L, signed Boucheron, numbered, French assay mark.
Condition
Signed Boucheron Paris and numbered 49 177. French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Accompanied by a duplicate of Gübelin report no. 0607159, stating that the sapphire measuring 15.94 x 11.84 x 6.96 mm and weighing 12.21 carats is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, for further information on the sapphire, please refer to Gübelin report; blue of strong colour saturation, with typical crystal inclusions, a few minor inclusions surface reaching, minor nicks to girdle visible under 10x magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.80 carats, estimated G-I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Minor signs of wear to the metal consistent with light use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 12 grams.
