Centring on a circular-cut diamond within a surround of calibré-cut rubies and onyx, the shoulders accented with circular-cut diamonds, size L1/2.

Provenance

By family tradition this ring was formerly in the collection of the 10th Nizam of Hyderabad.

Condition

Interior of mounting inscribed 3.53, likely indicating the stated weight of the diamond. In our experts' opinions the diamond is of L-M colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Rubies well matched in colour, well saturated, with typical crystal inclusions. Onyx in good condition. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
