Description
- gold, ruby, diamond
Designed as a pheasant, the breast set with a blister pearl, the feathers set with circular-cut emeralds and rubies, circular-cut and rose diamonds.
Condition
Mounted in gold, stamped 18kt to pin for 18 carat gold, pearl with strong green and rose overtone with some slight abrassions to surface commensurate with age, untested due to nature of the setting but probably a worked pearl to the base commensurate with the age of the brooch.
Gem-stones with mixed colours and clarities bright and lively with small abrassions and nicks to some facet edges commensurate with age and wear, overall good condition.
Accompanied by case stamped Maison Schroeder, Grand'Rue, 54, Luxembourg.
