Designed as an Iona cross comprising lines of circular-cut diamonds, each terminal decorated with a natural pearl, enamel and rose diamonds, the central circular motif set with circular-cut rubies, stamped RP, fitted case stamped Phillips of Cockspur Street.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 09263, stating that the pearls were found to be natural, saltwater. Stamped RP for Robert Phillips. Pearls white, rosé overtones, medium to dull lustre. Diamonds bright and lively. Some losses to enamel at sides. Rubies of varying saturations with typical inclusions visible under magnification. Some scratches and tarnish to metal consistent with age and wear. Accompanied by fitted case stamped Phillips of Cockspur Street.
