of lobed quatrefoil form standing on four shaped feet, the sides carved in relief with four panels depicting scenes of scholars and attendants in landscape, divided by the overall ground of large open blooms among dense foliage, inset with a Dehua model of a prunus tree

Condition

There are losses to the lacquer overall, particularly around the feet, as well as three cracks that are visible around the rim. The blanc-de-chine tree with restored breaks, losses to the branches and flowers, and cracks.
