of flattened oval form, well-carved in the form of an archaistic double-headed phoenix in profile, the wings and elongated tail feathers depicted curving into the body, the details executed in thread relief and some incising, the stone with opaque mottling and small areas of russet and two short dark brown inclusions to either side
