well carved in relief on one side with a writhing chilong, the reverse with archaistic scrolls, the stone a smooth translucent white color

Provenance

Acquired in China between 1920s and 1930s and thence by descent.

Condition

There are a few nicks around the rim, otherwise the jade is in overall good condition.
