the figure carved standing on a lotus base, wearing a loose flowing robe falling in graceful folds to just above the bare feet, open at the chest to reveal a beaded necklace, the hair swept up into a high topknot and centered with a figure of Amitabha seated on a lotus-form base, with traces of red and blue pigment

Condition

The figure is not carved from a solid piece of wood. There are expected age splits, cracks and chips overall. Some scattered fill. A large chip to one foot. Repairs to the base and the face possibly recarved.
