of flattened hu-form, each side with taotie masks carved in low relief and flanked by openwork comma-form flanges, a bird carved in high relief grasping a sprig of bright green berries perching on the shoulder, a pair of openwork dragon-form loose-ring handles to either side, all resting on a high splayed foot, the domed cover with a carved finial of a recumbent dragon clutching a pearl, the white stone with bright apple-green patches and flecking, fitted wood stand (3)

Condition

There are scattered minor nicks to the rims. The knop has been replaced. The vase has a restored section to one handle and a chip to the ear of one dragon.
