of baluster form with a flat back, the convex front with archaistic overlapping leaves enclosing cicada and comma scrolls carved in low relief on the base and shoulders, the waisted neck set with angular scroll handles to either side, the compressed mouth rim and base incised with a key-fret border, the reverse with a shaped channel surmounted on either side with taotie masks, the interior well-hollowed, the stone of an even olive-gray color with pale inclusions

There are chips to the tips of a few leaves, loss to the tip of the stem near the opening, and a small chip to the tip of the branch. There are minor scattered nicks along the edges.
