the rounded body supported on a slightly splayed circular foot, intricately pierced and well carved with a band of scrolling peony blossoms among leafy stems, set with a pair of peony sprigs carved in high relief rising to the rim to form the handles, the stone of pale celadon color with mottled white inclusions

Condition
There are small polished chips and minor nicks to the rims. There is white residue, likely wax or another type of polishing agent, in the crevices.
