of ovoid form, inscribed in clerical script with an excerpt from an essay written by statesman and historian Ouyang Xiu in 1056, the base inscribed with a four-character seal mark

Condition

Minor wear to the gilding on the inscription. Overall in good condition. The spoon has been removed.
