of slender ovoid form, the neck encircled at the base with three strings, the body carved with two dragons amongst waves, covered overall in a white glaze, apocryphal Xuande mark within double circles

Acquired in Boston, 1976. 

Condition

There is a 1 1/8 in x 3/4 in. (2.8 cm x 1.8 cm) section of the rim that has broken off and glued back in, with associated small loss. The mouth rim has also been ground down.
