the globular body supported on three slender legs, cast below the waisted neck with a band containing a pair of taotie masks reserved on a leiwen ground, set with a long tubular spout at the shoulder opposite the bovine-mask loop handle bearing a three-character pictogram underneath, the domed cover with repeated band decoration set with a loop handle in the center, the surface with green patina, wood stand (3)

Condition

The x-ray images reveal the body has several restored hairline cracks and breaks. One leg has a restored break. There are chips to the rim and the spout has been reattached. The cover has restored sections.
