rising sharply from a short foot to widely flared sides, covered overall with a soft sea-green glaze of even color except for the footrim where the edges of the glaze fired orange, Japanese lacquer box (3)
Condition
There is a 5 in. (12.6 cm) craze line in the glaze extending from the rim and around the body visible on the exterior and a shallow slice chip on the underside edge of the foot.
