the rounded sides rising from the knife-pared foot to the finger-grooved rim, covered with a lustrous black glaze liberally splashed on the interior and exterior with russet, foot dressed with a thin brown slip

Condition

Two pinhead glaze chips to the rim edge, visible in the catalogue photo at 3 o'clock. Two very small shallow chips to the edge of the foot.Typical minor surface wear.
