Description

  • ceramic
with rounded sides rising from a straight foot to an everted rim, the exterior decorated with five phoenix roundels, the phoenix with stylized head and their tails curled underneath, with one further roundel in the center of the interior, seal mark in underglaze blue

Condition

The bowl is in overall good condition. There is a burst bubble under the rim on the interior, as well as some minute iron spots on the interior and exterior. The copper-red is misfired and is therefore quite pale.
