cast in the form of a quail standing on its gilt clawed feet with its head turned slightly towards its left, its piercing eyes inset with red semi-precious stones above its short gilt beak, the cover in the form of its back with feathery wings tucked on the sides, the body brilliantly enamelled with intricately defined plumage

Condition

The overall condition is quite good with the exception of some typical polished nicks to the extremities.
