each carved with deep rounded sides resting on a slightly splayed foot, the well-fitted domed cover surmounted by a splayed finial, the stone of a pale celadon-white colour mottled with icy-white inclusions
Condition
Bowl 1: miniscule nicks to the interior of the foot rim and flanges of both bowl and cover. Bowl 2: original 4.5cm darker brown flaw line at the sides is slightly abrasive. Miniscule nicks at the flanges. Colour in the photo is too bleached. In reality the bowls are an attractive pale greenish-white.
