Description
each delictately potted with shallow rounded sides rising from a short straight foot, finely incised on the underside with all eight beribboned bajixiang ('Eight Buddhist Emblems'), all between an incised line encircling the foot and rim, covered overall with a translucent brownish-aubergine glaze, the base left white and inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within double circles
Condition
The overall condition is very good with the exception of a tiny underglaze kiln line of approximately 0.1 cm to the rim of one. The actual colour is quite close to the catalogue illustration.
