Description
the shallow flat-base washer carved in the form of an irregular oval with short sides and a flat-cut rim, set to one side with a thick gnarled branch carved in openwork, the branch extending along the rim and into the interior with clusters of leaves and three peaches, the exterior and base naturalistically carved with tree bark markings and bumps, the stone of a pale celadon-green tone with attractive russet inclusions complementing the design
Condition
The overall condition is quite good. The actual colour is a tinge greener than the catalogue image.
