Description

  • gilt-bronze
cast seated on a double cushion base, the left hand held in dhyanasana, the right raised holding a flower stem, wearing a robe tied at the waist and a high peaked cap

Condition

There is an area of repair to the back of the base, 12cm long, which is a repaired hole and associated split. There is an area of repair 5.5cm by 4.5cm to the top of the hat and there is a bowl missing from the left hand.The gilding has oxidized and there is an area of dirt built up around the face, hands and other recesses. There is a dent and an area of damage to the base plate.
