Description

  • gilt-bronze
cast seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, the hands held in dhyanamudra, wearing a simple dhoti, the face with meditative expression and gentle smile framed by long pendulous ear lobes, the hair gathered in tight curls surmounted by a domed ushnisha

Condition

This figure is in relatively good condition but there is crack running through three quarters of the neck. There is rubbing/loss of gilding throughout, including the face, neck, shoulders, chest, arms, legs, feet and base,
