Description

  • gilt-bronze, red coral, turquoise, glass paste beads
cast seated in lalitasana on a double lotus base, the right hand lowered in varadamudra and the left raised to the chest, wearing a simple dhoti and an elaborate beaded necklace inset with turquoise and coral, the face with downcast eyes and meditative expression

Condition

This figure is in reasonable condition, but has numerous areas of loss/rubbing to the gilding throughout. There is a slight bend to the central pendant of the crown and there is a replaced base plate to the underside of the base.
