Description
- stoneware and metal
the deep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a lipped rim, moulded to the interior with a central medallion enclosing an obscured design of possibly a leafy floral spray, the curved sides similarly decorated with camellia blooms borne on meandering branches with curled leaves, inscribed with a mark reading Wu Mingzhi on three of the leaves, all below double-line borders, the exterior moulded with lotus lappets, covered overall with an ivory glaze pooling to a greyish tone on the recesses, the rim bound with metal

Condition
This bowl is in good condition, but there is a small (2mm by 2mm) shallow chip to the interior of the footrim. There is a small glaze crawl, 3mm by 1mm as well as a small 2cm firing flaw (light firing crack), to the interior. There are some minor iron spots, burst bubbles and scratches to the glaze to the interior and exterior.
