the deep rounded sides resting on a tapering foot, painted to the exterior with four roundels each formed from a ferocious dragon writhing amongst cloud scrolls in pursuit of a flaming pearl, all divided by five-colour ruyi clouds, the interior decorated in underglaze-blue with a central medallion enclosing a dragon with bifurcated tail, writhing amongst meandering floral scrolls, the base with a six-character reign mark in three vertical columns within a double-circle

Condition

In good general condition, with four several restored chips and fritting at the rim, the largest measuring approximately 13mm. Very light surface wear elsewhere.
