Description

  • Porcelain
the rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to an incurved rim, moulded to the exterior with an undulating lotus scroll between archaistic keyfret and trellis bands, the top of the everted rim encircled by a keyfret border, covered overall in a greyish glaze suffused with a network of russet-brown crackle, stopping at the foot revealing the unglazed footring, the base impressed with a six-character seal mark

Condition

In good condition, with the exception of a 3mm flake at the rim and a 3mm flake a the foot. The glaze slightly mis-fired in parts to a warm yellow hue.
