Description

  • jade and wood stand
carved in the form of a bat perched on a hollowed double-gourd borne on a short curved stem, the gourd finely incised to the exterior with vaporous clouds, all supported on three globular feet, the stone of a greyish-celadon tone with russet veining, wood stand

Condition

This washer is in good condition, but there are a number of flaws in the stone and the colour is a bit greener than depicted in the catalogue.
