the body of flattened pear shape rising from a short spreading foot, carved to the front and back face with a large taotie mask divided by notched flanges, all beneath a dragon band divided by mythical beast masks, the domed cover carved with a dragon band and surmounted by a domed finial, the stone of greenish-yellow tone with light caramel inclusions 

Condition

This vase and cover is in good condition, but does have minor nicks to the rim of the cover, vase and its footrim. There are several noticeable flaws running through the vase on each side.
