the pear-shaped body rising from a straight foot to a waisted neck flaring at the rim, painted to the exterior with bamboo and plantain in a fenced garden above a lappet band, the neck encircled with stiff leaves, floral scroll and ruyi bands, the foot with demi-florets, inscribed to the base with a six-character reign mark

Condition

Sections to the neck out and restored, the largest area measuring approximately 100mm around edge of the rim and extending 22mm down the neck and three further areas of restoration to the rim. Otherwise in good general condition, with some pitting to the surface.
