Description

  • gilt bronze
the figure seated in dhyasasana on a double-lotus base, the hands in dharmacakramudra wearing a dhoti and a shawl draped over the shoulders and ornate body jewellery, flanked by two lotus at the shoulders, the hair pulled up in a high chignon and framed with a five-petal diadem

Condition

Unsealed, missing lower section of stem held in the figure's right hand and losses to upper sections of both flowers at the shoulder. A break to lower section of left celestial scarf. Rubbing and wear to gilding, most extensively to the base.
