carved seated with his left leg raised, his right hand holding a section of a tree branch and the left hand grasping a beaded necklace, wearing long fitting robes hemmed with lotus scroll borders, the face with a benevolent expression below tightly coiled hair, the opaque stone of a golden beige tone, signed Yuxuan to the reverse.
Condition
A 45mm by 23mm area of restoration to the base by the figure's left foot, where it appears as though the stone has been out and re-stuck. A chip to two of the toes on the left foot and a loss to the attribute originally held in his right hand. Small chips to the edge of the base, deep scratching and shallow losses to the underside. The underside also pierced for attachment to a base. Please note that the figure is signed Yuxuan on its upper back.
