of square section with straight sides rising from a spreading foot to a short waisted neck, moulded to each side with the bagua (Eight Trigrams), covered overall in a pale celadon glaze

Condition

In good general condition with the exception of two 5mm., shallow chips to the base of the footring and minor glaze firing imperfections. It should be noted that the glaze is of a slightly richer celadon tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
