Description

  • zitan wood
the rectangular panelled top set above a short recessed waist, above an apron carved with square scrolls, all supported on four scrolled feet, the densely grained wood of deep reddish-brown colour with typical gold speckles

Condition

The table is in good condition with the exception of a 2.5 x 1cm., triangular-shaped infill to one corner, possible stabilisation on the underside to prevent the top panel from further splitting down the centre, a 10cm., section of chipping to the inside edge of the apron and light scratches and rubbing to the patination.
