Description

the tapering cylindrical body rising from a spreading foot to angled curved shoulders, surmounted by a tall cylindrical neck, moulded to the exterior with ten vertical panels each painted with leafy floral sprays, similarly decorated to the neck with a wide band of floral sprays, all divided by foliate, lappet and floral scroll bands, the base with a six-character seal mark

Condition

The bottle vase is in good condition with the exception of repair to a long hairline crack with associated small breaks and glaze lines encircling the footring, and light glaze scratches in particular to the shoulder.
