Description
- gilt bronze
seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, the right hand extended in bhumisparshamudra and the left in dhyanamudra, wearing a shawl draped over the left shoulder with the undergarment gathered at the chest, the serene face with downcast eyes and a meditative expression, flanked by a pair of long pendulous ears, the hair gathered in tight curls surmounted by a domed ushnisha
Condition
The figure is in good condition with the exception of nine rectangular plugs (circa 4mm depth by 8-24mm., long) to the front and back; a replaced thumb on the left hand and loss to most of the gilded decoration on the figure. The base has been opened.
