- gilt bronze
cast seated in lalitasana on a double lotus base, the right hand lowered in varadamudra and the left hand raised to the chest, holding leafy stems of uptala lotuses rising above the shoulders, dressed in a dhoti embellished with beaded jewellery, crowned with a tiara in front of the high chignon
Condition
The figure is in good condition with the exception of loss to the inlay on the jewellery, light rubbing and scratches to the gilded decoration and possible later replacement of the lotus stems.The base is closed.
