Description

the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a slightly incurved rim, carved around the exterior with overlapping lotus petals and covered overall with a sea-green celadon glaze 

Condition

The bowl is gently warped. The rim has a 0.2x0.1cm shallow flake. There are two 0.2x0.1cm glaze flakes to the interior, one below the rim and the other near the centre. There is a 0.2cm burst glaze bubble to the interior. The rim is fired to a caramel-brown tone. The exterior has a horizontal glaze line about 1cm below the rim, about half of the line is fired to a milky-brown tone with associated flakes. Small chips to the foot. General surface wear.
