  • red stoneware and metal
the quatrelobe body set with a bamboo handle, incised with an inscription reading Yuexia dui jiaren (With beautiful lady under the moon), the base with two seals reading Junheng, the interior lined with metal; together with a Yixing teapot and cover bearing an apocryphal Mengchen mark

Condition

The teapot and cover are in good condition with the exception of minute chips to the spout, rim and the foot, and minor surface scratchings and stains. The cup is in excellent condition, the metal is tarnished.
